Meet the people you’ll be working with.
Dave is the President & CEO of PSW. Dave is a 4th generation resident of Waverly and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1972) and Middle Tennessee State University (1976). He began his career in the insurance business in 1976. He gained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1980. Dave has been heavily involved in the Insurors of Tennessee. Throughout his career, Dave has served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as President of the Association in 1998. Dave also served as Tennessee's delegate to the National Association's Board of Directors from 2004 to 2010. Dave served as the Chairman of the Humphreys County School Board from 1994-2000 as well as a member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Humphreys County.
Dave helps manage the agency's national program for the portable storage shed industry and specializes in the manufacturing sector of that industry.
He and his wife Melissa are members of the Waverly United Methodist Church where he serves as the Chair for the Committee on Finance. Dave and Melissa have three grown sons, Scott (Amy), Andy (Kara) and Taylor (Rebecca). They also have four grand-children, Kennedy, Sawyer, Andrew, and Sydney. Dave spends his spare time either with his grandchildren or houseboating.
Andy is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1995) and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (1999) where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance. After graduation he moved to Cincinnati, OH, and worked for Cincinnati Insurance Company as a commercial lines underwriter for three years. In 2002, he moved back to Waverly and joined the agency as an all-lines producer with a specialty in commercial insurance. In 2003 Andy was honored as the Young Agent of the Year from the Insurors of Tennessee and in 2004 he served as the Chairman of the Young Agent Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Insurors of Tennessee. Andy received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2005 and became one of the owners of the agency in 2006. Andy and his wife Kara have two children, Kennedy and Andrew, and his leisure activities include golf, college football, and relaxing with family and friends. In 2012, Andy was elected to represent Humphreys County on the Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative Board of Directors.
Taylor graduated from Waverly Central High School in 2000 and Cumberland University in 2004 where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. While at Cumberland he was also a member of the men's basketball and men's golf teams.
After graduation, Taylor worked for Cincinnati Insurance Company as a commercial lines underwriter until he moved back home in 2007. Taylor has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors for Insurors of Tennessee. In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious Arch E. Northington Award as the Young Insuror of the Year in the State of Tennessee.
Taylor helps manage the agency's national program for the portable storage shed industry and specializes in portable storage shed transportation.
He and his wife Rebecca have two children, Sawyer and Sydney. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys watching his kids play sports, golf, good bourbon and the Tennessee Vols!
“James is a lifelong resident of Humphreys County and graduate of Waverly Central High School (2015). He continued his education, graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin (2019) where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance. James joined the PSW team in 2019 and earned his Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) in 2020. James enjoys spending his spare time with his wife Sarah, being outdoors, and cheering on the Vols.”
Tammy joined PSW in 2003 as office manager. Tammy’s area of responsibility includes all accounting, information technology, and special projects coordinator for both offices. She earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2006. Tammy and her husband, Jessie, are the proud parents of Leslie (Scott) and Clay (Sara). In her spare time, Tammy enjoys granddaughters Aubrey and Stevie Wallace and grandsons Reid and Henry Auerbach.
Jaquita is a lifelong resident of Waverly and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1983). She began her career for PSW in 1993 and just recently celebrated her 30 year anniversary with the agency. She has her Tennessee Property & Casualty license and also has completed the designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative. She is married to her husband Tim and have two children, Christopher and Lacey and proud grandparents to three grandchildren, Dax, Kohen and Luna. She loves spending time with her family and friends and while at the office, providing the best customer service to her customers is top priority!
Laura is also a lifelong resident of Waverly and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1995). Before joining the PSW team in 2014, she was the Business Office Manager at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. In December 2014, she got licensed to be a Producer in Property and Casualty Insurance later earning her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2020. Laura has 2 children, Carson, married to Kait and Halliday married to Tanner Brock with a grandchild on the way. She enjoys spending time with family, attending church, being outdoors, cooking and reading.
Ansley is a lifelong resident of Waverly, TN and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (2016). She then continued her education, graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin (2020) where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Health Performance with a minor in Cell and Molecular Biology. Prior to beginning her career at PSW, she had been in the insurance industry for 1.5 years, acquiring her Tennessee Property & Casualty as well as her Life and Health licenses. In her spare time, Ansley enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding her 2 horses, gardening, cooking, attending church, and traveling. In office, she prioritizes and enjoys assisting her customers - providing the best customer service they expect and deserve.
Anita is a native of Forest Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She moved to Humphreys County in 1997 with her husband Ron and two daughters Angela and Laura. She began working at PSW in 1997. Anita considers herself a true Southern Yankee and loves to spend time with her grandchildren in her spare time.
Nicole has lived in Waverly since the age of ten. She graduated from Waverly Central in 1998. Nicole and her husband Jonathan have three sons, Hunter, married to Shelby, Blake, and Kash, and a granddaughter, Bailey. She loves to be with her family and watch her guys play football.
Brandy is a lifelong resident of Benton County and a graduate of Camden Central High School (2007). Prior to joining the PSW team (2024), she worked in the insurance industry for 10 years, acquiring her Tennessee Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. She is married to her husband, Derek, and they have two children, Addy and Cooper. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, and riding side by side.
